Programs!!? Where do i go to delete programs to make more space on my computer?

What writing programs work on both mac and windows computers? I have a pc and use microsoft word alot. What program can I use to send text write ups to someone on a mac computer? Will the notepad or wordpad programs that are with windows work on the mac os. I believe I can use adobe, but I only have the reader part of that program.

Is there anyway to check what programs are currently running on my Blackberry Pearl? I just recently got a Blackberry Pearl from T-Mobile. After reading some things online, I saw some people saying things about having open programs on their Blackberry Curves, and other Blackberry models and how to check if there are any programs running. But I never have seen anything about BlackBerry Pearls. Do programs automatically close when you hit the back button when you're in a program? Or are they minimized? These included Civil Conservation Corps (CCC) and the Works Progress Administration (WPA), National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA) and the National Recovery Administration (NRA). Does anyone know what these programs did for unemployed people or how the programs worked?

Is there a program that can backup installed programs? I need a program that can backup and restore other programs that have already been installed. What happens to saved programs after tivo service is turned off? Hey everyone, I am just wondering if anyone knows what happens to saved programs once the tivo service is disconnected (canceled). I have all the programs saved as, "Save until I delete." We are moving and so I am going to disconnect service and maybe start it up again in about 5-6 months. How do I stop many programs from running everytime I start up my computer? I may have lots of stuff running everytime I turn on my computer and I think it is slowing my computer down. What low income programs will help care for my stroke victim father, in my home, during the hours that I work?
