- Notepad produces .txt, so it'll work with anything.
- Notepad
- You can use free pdf converter to convert ms-word documents to pdf like http://www.primopdf.com/ http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp Remember pdf file cannot be edited by other person who receive it It is simple as selecting printer when saving it in ms-word in which case it will be pdf convertor (acting as printer) which will print it (i.e. transform ms-word document) in your computer as pdf file. OR Notepad, wordpad, ms-word = save document as text i.e. TXT or RTF(rich text file,, which allow some/limited formating like bold, underline etc) which both can be read in any operating system like mac, linux, unix etc. It can be edited by person recieving it.
- If you send then as rich text documents (.rtf) any system in the world can read then.
